Junior Salesforce Consultant - Internship

In this role, you’ll be working with our principal consultant to do interesting work that helps improve how organizations deploy their technology. You’ll also gain in-demand, highly-transferrable platform skills and experience that’ll open opportunities for years to come. 

Self-directed training curriculum (provided through Salesforce Trailhead), as well as tutoring and mentorship from senior team members provided.

Duties and responsibilities

Developing a familiarity, and then expertise, with applying Salesforce software to common business challenges, and process improvement.

Working on improving the internal Silius Salesforce systems and business processes to better onboard and serve customers.

Provide CRM solutions to meet client needs including design, configuration, and testing activities.

  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders

  • Providing support in the form of scoping and estimation during the sales process

  • Investigate, documents and analyze key client organizational processes

  • Think critically about business problems, and assist with developing a technical solution

  • Solution design and configuration on the platform

  • Work collaboratively with senior members of our team to determine required resources and create realistic timelines

  • Maintain clear communication with project team and stakeholders

  • Be a trusted adviser to the client, understanding the clients end-to-end business and areas for future growth

  • Perform and organize ongoing support for customers such as report building, data quality, new integrations and third party app installation

  • Along with adapting existing processes, help define new processes, and continually look to create efficiencies within the organization

  • Provide consulting and coaching around best practices in Salesforce Administration and implementation in the following areas:

    • Setting up new users and profiles

    • Custom objects, workflows, permissions

    • Reports, Dashboards and Views

    • Maintaining the overall system, including data loads

    • Website-to-Salesforce integration

    • Assist with data migration from other systems.

Knowledge and skills

  • Experience creating documentation for requirements, design, test, and training.

  • Knowledge of databases, computer software, data entry.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and organize information, work independently and use good judgment.

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others and display strong communication skills with colleagues and client stakeholders.

  • Ability to self-manage and adapt to changing priorities as needed.

  • Adept with multiple software systems and willing to learn new products.

  • Experience with system administration, web design, software development, would be a benefit.

Education required

  • Bachelor's Degree / Post Secondary

Certification required

  • None Required.

  • Salesforce Certification, or experience with the Salesforce Trailhead learning platform would be a benefit.
